BILLINGS, MT

Our Story
Billings Aviators Flight Club was founded in 2025 with a simple mission: make flying accessible, affordable, and community-driven in Billings, Montana. Based at Billings Logan International Airport (KBIL), our club operates two well-maintained Cessna 150s and is proudly supported by hangar space at Beacon Air Group—an exceptional full-service FBO offering fuel, maintenance, pilot amenities, and a welcoming aviation atmosphere. Logan International provides the perfect operating environment, with long, well-maintained runways, controlled airspace, reliable weather reporting, and direct access to diverse terrain that makes every flight both practical and scenic. Our members enjoy the professionalism of a commercial airport combined with the camaraderie of a tight-knit general aviation community.
Instruction is the heart of what Billings Aviators Flight Club does. We are built around training safe, competent, and confident pilots, whether you’re pursuing your first solo, working toward a private pilot certificate, or staying sharp through recurrent instruction. Our aircraft, scheduling model, and club culture are all designed to support learning and consistency, while fostering mentorship and shared experience among members. Beyond flight time, we focus on building a true aviation community—one where knowledge is shared, friendships are formed, and the love of flying grows stronger with every takeoff and landing over the Yellowstone Valley.
